The research dealt with assistive technology technologies and their impact on the lives of people with visual impairment because of their influential role in facilitating their life affairs, helping them to adapt to the requirements and needs of society and obtaining information that helps them facilitate their lives like others without visual impairment, so the focus was generally Emphasis on thesetechnologies and digital technology, especially in the field of obtaining useful and easy information.

What encouraged the researcher to refer to this issue is the lack of a clear strategy to provide this advanced assistive technology (to the best of the researcher's knowledge) except for little of it and in some Arab countries, in addition to the lack of a clear action plan that aspires to exploit the capabilities of assistive information technology and harness it to open areas of availability.

To fully integrate people with visual impairment into society.

Therefore, this research dealt specifically with one of the modern digital systems used in global libraries, which is the daisy system, and its vision, mission, goals, and usefulness were indicated, the types of books that are used according to this system, the tools used in it, and its great role in global libraries related to transferring written information to speaking information.

The importance of this system and the challenges that can be faced when using it, so it is imperative that there be modern digital alternatives to obtain information, and among these alternatives is the use of another technological technology, which is the Internet and the many sites it contains that help people with disabilities in general and visual, especially in obtaining information easily.

And this research has produced some recommendations and proposals for future studies in the field of assistive technology technologies.
