The intense use of the Internet resulted in a phenomenon that has become described as a pathological phenomenon, which is Internet addiction, which is defined as: (a condition of satisfactory and non-consensual use of the Internet that leads to clinical disorders and this phenomenon is a type of psychological addiction that has been described as close in nature to drug and alcohol addiction, as it results from addiction.

The aim of the research is to identify the impact of internet addiction on the family.

The two researchers came out with a number of recommendations, including: 1- Preparing a number of specialized training courses and awareness campaigns, especially for fathers and mothers, through various social and religious institutions, with the aim of educating parents about the use of the Internet and its applications that their children deal with in a bad and harmful way.

2- Spreading awareness among individuals (young people) and groups of youth in schools and universities about the problem of misuse of the Internet, and ways to benefit from it in a positive way, through lectures, seminars, conferences, clubs and educational areas.

3- Allocating a supervisory authority aiming to set the standards and controls necessary for establishing Internet cafes, and the manner of dealing with the Internet within them, as well as preparing the necessary technical equipment at the state level to prevent entry to unwanted sites, while taking all measures to ensure the commitment of state institutions and service providers to these Public policies.

The two researchers also identified a set of proposals, including: 1- Conducting applied field studies on the impact of internet addiction on families of all levels.

2- Conducting a study for a training program to reduce Internet addiction among adolescents, university students, or parents.
