The research aims to study and measure the most important factors affecting agricultural domestic product in Iraq which is an indicator of sustainable agricultural development during the period 2000-2017, The descriptive and quantitative methods were used in the analysis of agricultural investments, agricultural employment, cultivated area, and agricultural exports on sustainable agricultural development in Iraq.

The results by using the ARDL methodology in the analysis, Indicated that there is a long-term relationship between variables through a test F it reached 10.30, was the largest value of the minimum values at the levels of significance.

Through short and long term transactions was found that agricultural investments, agricultural exports have an effect, while the cultivated area and agricultural employment had no effect, The value R2 it reached 0.83 and that model was significant as a whole according to the F statistic, which amounted to 7.01 at the level of 0.05.

The research recommends encouraging agricultural investments and overcoming obstacles towards targeted investments for the advancement of the agricultural sector and encourage agricultural workers to maintain their work and not migrate and go to other jobs.
