Since 2003, Iraq has been undergoing various forms of extremism, which was due to the increase in the speech of hatred, which exploited the religious, nationalist and sectarian pluralism existing in Iraq.

This requires promoting research on confronting extremism by establishing political, cultural and intellectual pluralism through approving them legally and constitutionally, with the accompanying promotion of a culture of dialogue, acceptance of the other, freedom of opinion and expression, and acceptance of the peaceful circulation of power.

This is why we find it necessary to take advantage of the experiences of countries that have gone through a state of extremism and civil war, and have faced this by promoting pluralism to prevent extremist rhetoric from exploiting this pluralism and diversity.
