The current research aims to identify: The effect of the cooperative learning strategy on developing the skill of focusing attention among the second-year intermediate students in chemistry, and the following hypothesis was formulated.

There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the average grades of the students of the experimental group who studied according to the cooperative learning strategy and the average scores of the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the achievement test, and the research sample consisted of (60) students of the class Middle second, As for the research tool, the attention focus test was prepared and it consisted of (30) items, and by using statistical means: (the two-test for two independent samples groups - the two-test for two correlated samples - the paragraph difficulty equation - and the equation Paragraph highlighting), and after processing the data statistically, the following results were revealed: The experimental group that was studied according to the cooperative learning strategy outperformed the control group in the attention focus test.

In light of the results of the current research, a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals were formulated.
