The issue of the Iraqi government formation crisis for the year 2018 is receiving great attention at the international and local levels because of its importance for achieving security and stability and preserving the unity of Iraq, people and land.

This study included the internal and external political reasons for the crisis of forming the Iraqi government in 2018, the results of the parliamentary elections and their repercussions, as well as the political struggle between the Iraqi political blocs and forces, in order to obtain the position of prime minister without presenting a national political program and a clear vision of how to lead Iraq in the four-stage.

The coming years, which led to a worsening of the political situation and thus delaying the formation of the government.
