aims at (digital citizenship on the formation of the ego identity of middle school students) and the aim of the current study is to identify the level of digital citizenship among students and to identify the level of the ego identity of studentsas well as to identify the relationship between digital citizenship and the formation of the ego identity of middle school students.

The two researchers followed the scientific steps in order to adopt the two scales, which are the digital citizenship scale prepared by the researcher thank you and the scale component of (30 ) paragraphs distributed on the components of (digital participation - secure digital communication), taking into account the accuracy and comprehensiveness of all ideas in the scale, and the second scale of the ego identity of Al-Ghamdi was prepared according to the Marshall Scale that includes (24) paragraphs.

Then the two researchers presented the two scales to experts in the educational and psychological sciences, to ensure the availability of the appropriate standard characteristics for him and his alternatives in terms of form and content.

What was set for measuring, and thus the two scales became ready for application, and the test was applied to a sample consisting of Preparatory for the academic year 2020-2021 and they were chosen by the random sampling method, and the two researchers used the relational descriptive approach, and the statistical data were processed using the statistical program (SPSS) and after analyzing the study data statistically, the results of the study reached the existence of digital citizenship among the students, as well as the existence of the ego identity Among students, as it was found that there is a positive relationship between digital citizenship and the formation of the ego identity of middle school students, males have more than females and the reason is that males are more familiar with digital citizenship, social media, and establishing relationships and friendships through social media.
