The social responsibility of organizations is a contemporary definition, and its dimensions and applications are still a place of controversy between thinkers and researchers which witnessed a focus in latest literature.

I studied social responsibility as a concept related to many other management concepts.

Social responsibility appeared in organizations in the twentieth century after the industrial revolution.

It has been linked with the establishment of industrial projects and the progress experienced by institutions duo to various media inventions.

The social responsibility has recently become the topic of the hour, through the ethics it presents including social and environmental and Cultural dimensions.

The problematic of this research is how security organization contribute to the community and achieving the social peace and security through many recent activities in the field of awareness and education, taking into account the interests of society, studying its problems and needs, and solving issues besides its effective role in the security side and establishing security and reducing crime.

The importance of this research comes from the new role of the security organization on social responsibility and the adoption of new roles that were limited to the civil sector.

The research targeted the Northern Region Police Directorate as case study and how it contributed to community service and social security and spreading the social peace through its strategic roles and establishing a special division for community service.

The most important areas of this study were defining what is social responsibility, its development, its dimensions and obstacles of it as well as the role of the Ministry of Interior representative by the Northern Region Police Directorate in achieving the social peace.

The research implements the descriptive analytical approach for the case study of the Northern Region Police Directorate, while the data collection tools in the research use a primary method, which was interviews with the competent authorities to know the role of the Directorate in serving the community, and also relied on secondary data from previous studies, websites and the official reports of the Ministry of Interior.

As for the result of the research, it is represented in the importance of social responsibility to serve the community and achieve social peace, as the organizations operate in a general environment and they are part of this environment, so they must work and commit to this environment in all areas of security, economic, social and cultural.
