The aim of this study is revealing the role of social studies books in confronting the values transformation in the Jordanian society in the eyes of its supervisors and teachers.

A survey is designed to achieve this study’s goals, containing (55) paragraphs distributed on 4 areas: political, social, economic, and aesthetic values.

The study sample consists of (5) supervisors, (76) teachers (males and females) from urban, country, and Bedouin areas.

They are chosen randomly according to Stratified random sample.

The following results are reached: The political values sector is the main area of concentration in social studies books according to the supervisors with an average of (3.90) as a middle value, followed by the aesthetic values sector with an average of 3.58 as a middle value, followed by the social values sector with an average of (3.31) as a middle value and finally the economical values sector with an average of (3.21) as a middle value.

The political values sector is the main area of concentration in social studies books according to teachers with an average of (4.54) as a middle value followed by the aesthetic values sector with an average of 4.24 as a high value, followed by the economical values sector with an average of (3.61) as a middle value, and finally the social values sector with an average of (3.21) as a middle value.

This study recommends an improvement to the social studies books according to the influences upon the society.
