The aim of this study is identifying students' ratings of the teaching practices of the tutoring staff at Al-Quds Open University, and the extent to which they differ according to the gender of the student, his level of study, and the college to which he belongs.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a scale was constructed to measure students' assessment of the performance of the faculty members.

The scale consisted of (28) items distributed on a five-point scale.

The scale was implemented on a sample of (197 male and female) university students.

The results of the study demonstrated that all the students' ratings of the performance of the faculty members were high on all the fields of the scale.

Also, there were no statistically significant differences in their estimates due to the variables: gender, and level of education.

The study recommended the adoption of students' assessments as one of the evaluation criteria for the teaching staff of the university.
