Social media is one of the most important innovations that changed the course of many people's attitudes in society, it has an effective and important role in organizing and coordinating many political events and because of the social need and the exchange of ideas and opinions and the transmission of events and facts, in addition to its effective role in the participation of individuals in elections and the contribution of individuals towards Political issues within the communityThe importance of the study lies in two aspects: The first aspect is the theoretical importance that reveals the social networking sites and the extent of their impact on political issues and the extent of their suitability for university youth, while the second aspect is the scientific importance that lies in the field framework of the study and the results expected from itThe study also relied on the social survey method to reach the goals of the study, by adopting the tool (questionnaire) which was distributed to a sample size (200) male and female to Anbar University students on a number of colleges, four of which are human and three of which are scientific
