The purpose of the study is to investigate the level of self- management, optimism and posttraumatic growth and the relationship between them among Syrian Refugee Students in Jordanian Schools.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researchers developed self- management scale, and used Tedeschi & Calhoun’s posttraumatic growth scale and Eid, Mahmmoud and Faraj’s optimism scale.

The sample of the study consisted of 501 male and female students, selected through random clustering sample.

The findings of the study showed that self- management and posttraumatic growth had average levels.

However, the level of optimism was high.

There were significant correlations between the level of posttraumatic growth and self- management on one hand, and between optimism and posttraumatic growth on the other hand.

Furthermore, the findings showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of posttraumatic growth according to the variables of gender, grade, and duration of refugee and loss of family member.

However, there were statistically significant differences in the levels of self- management and optimism according to the variable of gender, in favor of females, and in the level of self- management according to the variable of duration of refugee, in favor of less than five years.
