الملخص EN

This study aimed to identify the role of information and informatics in technical and vocational education, the researcher used descriptive qualitative approach, and the study relied on document (content) analysis as data collection method, the sample of the study consisted of some studies, researches, reports and conferences which addressed the subject of the current study.

The study reached some results and the most important results are that the informatics has a very important role in technical and vocational education, and all previous studies and conferences confirmed this result, it also pointed to the urgent need for implementing informatics and computing in vocational education in general.

The study recommends that it is vital to provide the necessary infrastructure for implementing the informatics in the technical and vocational education, and train the teacher on implementing informatics in teaching; that beside establishing centres for electronic vocational learning to serve the technical and vocational schools and centres as wide as possible.
