الحاجات النفسية لدى الشباب في محلية ام درمان في ضوء بعض المتغيرات

The study aimed at investigation on psychological needs (economic needs need ,the need to interact with others, the need for achievement and self-fulfillment ,the need to achieve social status) among youths in Omdurman locality.

To achieve this aim the researchers adopted the descriptive methodology, the researcher sample consist of (100) with (38) male and (62) female.

They were selected by Haphazard sample.

For collecting data the researcher used primary data and scale of psychological needs (preparation and design of the Mohamed Mahmuod Abudwaia,2012).The data manipulated by statistical package for social science (SPSS): The result of the research as follow: the level of psychological needs among youths in Omdurman locality is high .there is no statistical differences for the psychological needs among youths in Omdurman locality attributed to variable of(sex, age), while there is no statistical correlation between psychological needs among youths in Omdurman locality and level education ,while there is positive statistical correlation between the need for achievement and self-fulfillment .there is an interaction between the economic need and the rest of the needs under consideration .Eventually the researchers puts some recommendations and suggestions for future research
