The scriptural movement of the negritude poets takes two complementary directions.
One is based on the revolt of the pioneers of the movement against the injustices of the colonial system.
This involves denouncing the deviations of this system which is based on lies, terror and exploitation at all levels: political, economic, social, religious and cultural.
The other vein consists in reestablishing the long concealed truth, by the rehabilitation of the scoffed heritage of Africa.
This involves revaluing the history, culture and civilization of the Black peoples and the peoples of Africa in general who have nothing to envy to other civilizations in the world.
Through their writing, René Maran, Aimé Césaire, Léopold Sédar Senghor, Léon Gontran Damas and David Diop subscribe to this double posture.
الملخص FRE
La mouvance scripturaire des poètes de la négritude prend deux directions complémentaires.
L’une repose sur la révolte des pionniers du mouvement contre les injustices du système colonial.
Ce qui passe par la dénonciation des écarts de ce système reposant sur le mensonge, la terreur et l’exploitation à tous les niveaux : politique, économique, social, religieux et culturel.
L’autre veine consiste à rétablir la vérité longtemps occultée, par la réhabilitation du patrimoine bafoué de l’Afrique.
Ce qui passe par la revalorisation de l’histoire, de la culture et de la civilisation des peuples Noirs et des peuples de l’Afrique de manière générale qui n’ont rien à envier aux autres civilisations du monde.
A travers leur écriture, René Maran, Amé Césaire, Léopold Sédar Senghor, Léon Gontran Damas et David Diop s’inscrivent dans cette double posture.
