This research aims to identify the nature of media coverage of the refugee crisis in European news sites spoken in the Arabic language, by applying the German news website Deutsche Welle by monitoring the topics of this coverage, patterns, sources, persuasive persuasions and refugee nationalities in which it appeared and the directions of the site under study towards This crisis.

This research is one of the descriptive studies that employed the survey method, and relied on a content analysis tool to collect data from the German site Deutsche Welle under study during the month of November 2019.

The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The political issues topped the topics of media coverage of the refugee crisis in Germany, followed by humanitarian issues, then security challenges.

The news came at the forefront of the media coverage patterns, the report's pattern was resolved secondly, and the investigation was third, while the Syrian nationality topped the nationalities of the refugees who were covered in the media coverage during the analysis period, followed by the Iraqi nationality.

The persuasive logical persuasion came in the first order, followed by the emotional grooming, while the trend of the Deutsche Welle news site under study towards the topics of the refugee crisis was positive, followed by the neutral and negative.
