Literature addresses the human feelings.

Its goal is stimulation of feelings and it gives to literary the ability to express other topics that other methods are unable to express them.

Story is the art of the literary arts and it is the oldest kind of literary and it is explained with events characters situations and details.

one of its kinds is short story which is more constrained than story and it concentrates more on one issue and one character.

Some stories have been remained about the Pre- Islamic Arabs.

Historians and critics were categorized into two groups in related to this matter.

One of these groups has accepted the existence of the story in Pre-Islamic era.

The other group rejected it.

This essay tries to survey the existence of the story in Pre-Islamic era with the use of the descriptive-analytic method and this essay is in agreement with this view.

The results refer to this issue that elements of fiction exist in the story of the Pre-Islamic era, for example event, point of view, plot, character, place and time.

We can call it the short story, although these factors were designed in the primary and simple shape
