تحديات توظيف مهارات التفكير لتنمية مهارة الاستيعاب القرائي لدى طالبات المرحلة العليا والثانوية في الأردن من وجهة نظر معلمات اللغة العربية

الملخص EN

The study aimed to demonstrate the challenges to which Arabic language teachers employ thinking skills to develop the reading comprehension skill of high schools’ students in Jordan.

To answer the questions of this study, two questionnaires were made; The first one has 27 items according to a five-point gradient, and (3) areas: Thinking before reading skill/ during reading / and after reading.

The second questionnaire consisted of (16) items according to a triple gradient, and (4) areas: The challenges interconnected to the students / the teacher / and the school curriculum / and administrative and the class environment.

The study sample consists of (76) female teachers distributed on the public schools affiliated to the schools in Al jameha district in the first semester of 2020/2021, and the results of this study showed that their employment of thinking skills to develop the reading comprehension skill was great, and there were no statistically significant differences attributing to the variables of: experience and academic qualification.

As for the challenges, the challenges of female students got its great extent , followed by the challenges of the administrative aspects and the classroom environment
