The growing tendency of developing countries during the second half of the eighties and the era of the nineties of the previous century to the transition to a market economy with the growing economic imbalances and instability of the structure of macroeconomic and exacerbating the problems of external indebtedness, and in the framework of transition to market economies have adopted various developing countries including Arab countries Programs comprehensive reform particularly with regard to the funding side of their economies, in search of them to achieve positive results and bring about economic development through the adoption of modern method of funding financial intermediation through the establishment of the financial markets.

The Arab countries recent financial markets, which have focused mostly investments in securities and in an orderly fashion until the beginning of the nineties of the last century, but these two decades have witnessed a wide spread of markets mentioned in all the countries concerned but also in major cities in these countries, as the interface Arab stock markets during her career with many challenges still facing, we will try through this research to shed light on them.

and based on that, we decided to ask the following question: To what extent is the ability of the Arab world stock markets to overcome and to keep pace with advances in global stock markets? From this question we can ask sub-questions that we are trying to answer through this research: - What do we mean by global financial markets? - To which extent the Arab financial markets have evolved? - What are the problems facing the Arab financial markets? To answer these sub-questions, we have formulated the following hypotheses: - The stock market index, which measures the degree of economic development of the State; - The Arab world stock market cannot face obstacles imposed by the development taking place - Arab stock markets are characterized by non-diversity of its constituent companies, like other emerging economies.

And reflect the desired goals in this research: - Provide an overview of the global financial markets and their development; - To highlight the importance of the stock market to achieve economic recovery; - To highlight the reality of Arab stock exchanges; So we decided, through this research to address the following elements: - Global stock markets; - Arab stock markets; - The reality of global stock markets, and Arab stock exchanges and challenges.
