The objective of this article is to examine the interactions between the structure of exports and economic growth in Algeria through econometric modeling based on the multiple regression model using annual data covering the period (1995-2019).
The multiple regression results show that the export structure negatively affects economic growth.
These results suggest a diversification of the export basket by including other sectors as well as a structural transformation of the Algerian economy.
الملخص FRE
L'objectif de cet article est d'examiner les interactions entre la structure des exportations et la croissance économique en Algérie à travers une modélisation économétrique basée sur le modèle de régression multiple utilisant les données annuelles couvrant la période (1995-2019).
Les résultats de la régression multiple montrent que la structure d'exportation affecte négativement la croissance économique.
Ces résultats suggèrent une diversification du panier d'exportation en incluant d'autres secteurs ainsi qu'une transformation structurelle de l'économie algérienne.
