Soil sample were collected from the three soil types of the study area( Vertisols, Inceptisols and Alfisolsi).

The plant species and soil samples were chemically analyzed to determine the mineral nutrients in each plant species and soil samples.

The results of soil chemical analysis showed that Vertisols and Inccptisols were richer in mineral and slightly alkaline as compared to Alfisols.

Plant chemical analysis showed that two species had different levels of mineral elements and crude protein.

The data of the plants and soils chemical analysis were analyzed statistically.

The statistical analysis showed that there were correlation among soil and plant mineral nutrients.

Some of the correlation were positive others were negative.ُ
