The study attempted to identify the developments and developments in society that may affect the increase in criminal behavior within the family, and to identify the social factors affecting the commission of these crimes within the family through the viewpoint of a sample of experts.

Objectives of the study:Standing on the developments and developments in the Egyptian society that may lead to the perpetration of criminal behavior within the family, Determining the social factors affecting the commission of crimes within the family, Attempting to put forward a sociological vision that explains the spread of these crimes within the family environment.

The study relied on the descriptive analytical method, and a “questionnaire form” with open questions was designed and distributed through two means “electronic and paper” to allow its application to a deliberate sample of experts, consisting of “25” experts in various disciplines.

Results of the Study:There is great agreement between the theoretical vision of the theories and studies that provided different explanations for the reasons and motives for perpetrating violence and crime within the family, and the opinions of the study sample of experts and executives in the field of crime in society, The motives for committing the crime varied between each case.

There is a great overlap between some of the motives leading to the commission of crime within the family, such as the economic situation, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, personal characteristics, abnormal upbringing and the geographical environment, and their impact on the surrounding conditions in society, Economic reasons still have the greatest impact on committing crimes within the Egyptian family, followed by personality traits and socialization in an abnormal or disjointed environment, then being affected by violent behaviors broadcast through traditional and modern media in dramas and films, then other factors represented in drug addiction, and the environment Geography, inadequate housing, Modern technological means and the Internet have played a major role in recent times in committing some crimes within the family, whether towards others or themselves, such as suicide or ending their lives as a result of addiction to various electronic games, Families' failure in the socialization roles entrusted to them within the community was a major reason for acquiring many violent and crime behaviors within these families, which negatively affects the safety of the entire community.
