Advertising translation supposes an effective transfer of advertising, which essentially uses two sign systems: linguistic and non-linguistic, and which, actually, are complementary.
The translator must take into account this latter when transferring from one language to another.
The translator's translatological challenge here would be the effective translation of the original advertising effect.
However, semiotic of signification would be a tool to help the translator, it could be invested by the translator in the field of advertising translation because it defines the meaning and effect.
الملخص FRE
La traduction publicitaire suppose un transfert efficace de la publicité, qui utilise essentiellement deux systèmes de signes: linguistique et non linguistique.
Le traducteur doit, en effet, tenir compte de leur complémentarité lors du transfert d'une langue à une autre.
Le défi traductologique du traducteur serait ici la traduction efficace de l'effet publicitaire d'origine.
Cependant, la sémiotique de la signification serait un outil pour aider le traducteur dans le sens où elle pourrait être investie par celui-ci dans le domaine de la traduction publicitaire car elle en définit le sens et l’effet.
