This study examined the relationship between oil price shocks, inflation rate and economic growth in Algeria from 1971-2016.

Therefore, we used the NARDL model.

The estimated model revealed the existence of nonlinear effect of oil price on inflation.

Plus a significant relation between oil price increases and inflation rate, On the other hand, a significant relation between oil price reduction and the inflation was ent.
