The main objective sought through this paper consists of a contribution to strategies for a new boost of dynamism to the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises in the DR Congo in general and those of the city of Matadi in particular through facilitation.

This will have a positive ripple effect on the Congolese economy.

The results of the investigation showed that the lack of information on the conditions to be fulfilled, the high interest rates, the absence of a significant collateral value and the lack of the minimum amount of money in the bank accounts of small and medium-sized enterprises at the level of financial institutions constitute the major problems of not easy access to their financing.
