Occurrence of pregnancy after treatment with estrogen-progesterone in a woman with premature ovarian failure : Case report

A 34-year-old woman, mother of five children, presented with a one-year history of amenorrhea, hot flushes, Insomnia, anxiety and nervousness.

Based on history and laboratory findings a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure was suspected.

The patient was treated with estrogen /progesterone for two cycles after which she resumed her cycle again.

One month later she got pregnant and delivered a full-term baby.-
