Werner syndrome (pangeria)‎ : report of two cases

This is a report of two cases : A 28 and 30-year-old female sisters, who presented with early graying and diffuse loss of hair and senile appearance of the face and skin.

These changes together with juvenile cataract, oligomenorrhea, osteoporotic bone changes and diabetes mellitus supported the diagnosis of Werner syndrome (Pangeria).

Not only the cosmetic appearance of the patients was much affected, but also more importantly, this syndrome has a significant morbidity and mortality rate.
