Political representation of Algerian women in the parliament (1962-2021)‎

This paper aims to show to what extent the Algerian women are involved in the different aspects of power of the state.

It is done through the study of the development of political representation of women in the Algerian parliament as a sample aspect of power.

This paper is based ultimately on the examination of the Algerian constitutions, legislations, Laws, and international conventions on women.

It also aims to clarify the obstacles that impede women from the participation in establishing the foundations of democracy which lead to enhance their status in power.
