الملخص EN

In the recent years the appeal of dystopian fiction gained massive attention from moviemakers and authors as well, this literary hallmark created an evolution following books such as 1984 by George Orwell and many other novels that helped in this sudden appeal.

On the other hand, Young Adult fiction captured the theme of dystopia in the last decades, featuring teenagers as heroes and change-makers.

This article addresses one of the recent franchises in the world of cinema and adaptation movies which is the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne.

This paper aims at addressing themes such as individual's struggle against corrupted systems and tackling the evolution from the book to the movie adaptation.
