الملخص EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the extent of including the 21st century skills in the courses of the advanced level in the institution of teaching Arabic for non-natives at Princess Noura bin Abdelrahman University.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers adopted the descriptive approach and the content analysis list, included (51) indicators, distributed into (7) domains: communication and sharing, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, cooperation and teamwork skills, media culture and information technology, social skills (career and life), and an understanding of multiple cultures.

The study sample contained advanced (third) level courses at the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for the academic year 2020-2021 and the analysis was done at the level of texts and learning activities.

After analyzing the data, the most important findings were: 1- Availability of communication and sharing skills in the language skills and language practices courses by a mean exceeded the average level, while these skills decreased in the oral skills course.

2- including critical thinking and problem-solving skills, creativity and innovation, cooperation and teamwork, media culture, information technology, social skills (profession and life) and understanding of multiple cultures in the three courses, within low percentages as the frequencies and means were low.
