This research is about the necessity of poetry in the book of the Al-tanbehe to explain the problems of enthusiasm for Ibn Jinnie.

The book of Al-tanbehe is an interpretation of the verses of the enthusiasm of Abu Tammam, and an explanation of what is problematic in its vocabulary, Ibn Jinnie was interested in the poetic necessity in this book.

He commented on any a poetic line of verses where there was a need to comment on it.

This study is about the poetic necessities mentioned in that book.

I started the research with an introduction in which I explained the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, and the previous studies, and introduced it in two subjects, the first: I reflected the concept of necessity, and briefly, the attitude of grammarians; the second one was devoted for the issues of poetic necessity in the book of Al-tanbehe, and then appended it with a conclusion, the most important findings of the research, and then a list of sources and references of the research.
