The study aimed to identify the effect of employing the digital video clips in the development of the Arabic calligraphy skills to the sixth grade students, to achieve the objectives of the study, the research used the descriptive analytic approach and a semi-experimental methodology, a list of Arabic calligraphy skills has been prepared and the test of the Arabic calligraphy skills, the sample of study was (36) students from the sixth grade students selected deliberately.

the study reached many results, the most important of them are: to select a list of Arabic calligraphy skills required for sixth grade students, there were a significant statistical differences between the average scores of the students experimental group ,who learn the Arabic calligraphy skills by employing the digital video clips in the test of the Arabic calligraphy skills in the pre-application and after in the favor of the post-application, the employing of the digital video clips has a major impact in the development of the Arabic calligraphy skills to the sixth grade students.

the most important recommendations of the study are: to teach Arabic calligraphy skills to students in all their educational stages, and to allocate space for them in the weekly program dedicated to the Arabic language, which explains the skills, how to use them, and raise the awareness of Arabic teachers of the need to possess the skills of designing and producing digital video clips.
