The study aims to identify the reality of using electronic educational platforms in distance learning from the viewpoint of female students and parents in Rafah governorate.

the researchers use the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the purposes of the study.

the sample of this study is chosen randomly, it consists of (190) female students and (111) parents.

the researchers use two questionnaires to achieve the purpose of the study, one of them is directed to the female students and consists of (25) items, and the other questionnaire is directed to the parents and consists of (24) items.

the results of the study show that the students’ practices of e-learning platforms in distance learning is high (71.6%) while the parents' practices of e-learning platforms in distance learning is medium (63.6%).

there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the approval level about electronic educational platforms in distance education and the variables of academic average and the stream of the study from the viewpoint of the female students.

also, there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the approval level about electronic educational platforms in distance education and the variable of parents’ educational qualification and monthly income from the parents’ viewpoint.

the study recommends strengthening the ability of the students to deal with educational platforms in distance learning, and qualifying parents, adequately, to use electronic educational platforms in distance learning.
