الملخص EN

aim of this study was to identify the training needs of intermediate school history teachers from the point of view of teachers and school principals in Iraq.

The study consisted of (112) teachers and (24) headmasters in the Department of Education Rifai of the General Directorate in Dhi Qar.

The study is based on a questionnaire consisting of (39) paragraphs divided into four fields.

The results of the study showed that the training needs in the field of education and behavior and the social field came to a great extent, while the field of methods and activities and the field of use of education and communication technology came to a medium degree.

The results of the study indicated that there are differences due to the impact of the job in the field Educational and behavioral, and the social field, and the differences were in favor of teachers, and also showed to the absence of differences attributed to the impact of sex in all areas, and in light of the results of the study presented a set of recommendations.
