The aim of the research is to highlight the in for man on presented by Maqrizi about kurdish dynasties and tribes in the home land of kurds by means of some of his writings .

Maqrizi is considered a pioneer in the historical recording in Egypt during the royal age.

He is distinguished by quantity of production and accuracy in importing his subjects,and he has presented good and rare knowledge in his writings about the his Rory of kurds and their country during the medieval age .

The research is divided in to an introduction and two chapters .

The first one is dedicated to mentioning the Kurdish groups and tribes that Maqrizi has mentioned in his writings .

While the second chapter focuses on the Kurdish dynasties in kurds , homeland.

He has mentioned the news of many of those dynasties , such : the dynasty of Bani Marwan in Miafarqin and Diyar Bakir , and the dynasties of Bani Ayoub in Hissen Kifa , and others
