The study aims to show the effect of changing the fatwa with changing times, by defining the fatwa in language and jurispruden¬tial convention, ruling on changing a fatwa by changing the rea¬sons, and controlling the fatwa’s change with changing times, and ruling on changing rulings with changing times.

The importance of the research lies in the fact that Sharia is valid for every time and place and its lack of rigidity in clarifying the ruling of contempo¬rary jurisprudential issues, and the role of time change in the fat¬wa and its application to every variable of conditions and circum¬stances.

The study relied on the subordinate inductive approach in which it traced the opinions of the jurists and attributed them to their original sources, and it reached at the end of that study a number of results, including: The fatwa does not change with the change of time unless there is a legitimate justification, and that the rulings established by the court texts do not change, just as the rulings that are proven by Ijtihad can be changed Because of a need or necessity.
