The analysis of the mental funtioning of 4 groups of patients (Asthma, Diabetes, Behcet Disease and the mani-depresif psychose), was done through stories produced as a result of a thematic projecting test: The T.A.T.
Generally, the effort is focused on defensif strategies used by the subject during the elaboration of his story.
Through the help of V.
Shentoub wirenetting (1983), the mental functioning of each subject, showing a type of pathology, was analyzed separately.
In a second phase, patients with different pathologies were regrouped on the basis of their mental organization.
Finally, in the shade of the psychosomatic theory of P.
Marty, subjects were regrouped on the basis of their mental type.

L’analyse du fonctionnement mental de 4 groupes de patients (asthme, diabète, Behcet et psychose maniaco-dépressive), s’est faite â partir des récits produits en réaction à une épreuve projective thématique : le T.
A.T.
De manière générale, le travail est centré sur les stratégies défensives, employées par le sujet lors de l’élaboration de son récit.
A l’aide de la grille de V.
Shentoub (1983), grille clinique centrée sur l’organisation mentale •.
le fonctionnement mental de chaque sujet présentant un type de pathologie a été analysé dans sa singularité.
Dans un deuxième niveau, les sujets présentant des pathologies différentes ont été rapprochés du point de vue de leur organisation mentale.
