The medical records were reviewed for demographic and histopathological characterstics.

ZSmSL Ten cases (1.5 %) showed a histological evidence of schistosomiasis in the removed appendix specimens, all were among Egyptian patients.

conclusions The results of histopathological study for Post aPPendectomy patients coming from endemic, should be processed as early as possible and before the patient is discharged.
