Water is considered to be a commodity of a great strategic importance; it plays an important role in the different fields of development.

The per capita share of water is currently used as an indicator for measuring the level of the country welfare and prosperity.

The aim of this financial and economic analysis is to assess the economic viability of the introduced improvement to be constructed at Marwa Level and to determine whether or not and to what systems will improve the economic welfare of the stakeholders once rehabilitated and also to assess how to pay for the Capital cost as well as justify the initial financial outlay for the new system.

In order to obtain judgment on the above the researchers looked at capita costs, recurrent costs, tariffs and revenue, and financing plan.

Increasing water productivity at all levels has the highest priority of the current water improvement projects; water use efficiency in crop production need to be improved at farm level.

Hence, a new approach of water management is needed to consider the diverse range of resource-use features and its interactions to elaborate sustainable water resources management strategies.

The overall objective of the Irrigation Improvement Project IIP is to improve the social and economic conditions of Egyptian farmers through development and use of improved irrigation water management and increase crop production, also to promote efficient water used in irrigation and a more equitable distribution of water by establishing continuous flow in the distribution systems and on- demand access to water at farm level.
