This article aims to get to know how Arab and foreign news websites use colors and to what extent creativity is achieved in such use.

The Arab website the study tackles are the Egyptian Seventh Day and the Saudi Riyadh, and foreign website are the British BBC USA New York Times.

The study has employed an amalgamated approach consisting of the survey and comparative approaches.

The study concludes that Arab websites surpass the foreign ones in the creativity of the use of colors, as evidenced in the Arab websites, namely the Seventh Day and Riyadh.

It was also clear that the BBC was a classic website using only the white and black colors and the red color in the heading, thus no creativity in the use of colors was noted.

Moreover, the New York Times appears to be largely classic.

This website seems similar to any printed newspaper in the use of colors: the black color seems to be a basic color in both the headlines and text, with a white background, and even in advertisements and sometimes rare throughout the study period.

The red color appears only on a sub-headline on the page.
