The study aimed to identify the reality and obstacles to the professional development of school leaders in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the experience of the united states of America, and to propose a proposed vision for the professional development of school leaders in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the experience of the united states of America.

to achieve this goal, a sample consisting of (285) school leaderships was selected in Riyadh, and a descriptive survey approach was used, and a questionnaire was applied that included (39) phrases, and the results of the study reached the following: the degree of approval of the study sample on the reality of the professional development of school leaders in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saudi in light of the experience of the united states of America from the point of view of school leaders, it was moderate and on all dimensions, and the results also found that the degree of compliance of the study sample on the distance obstacles to professional development and professional development for school leaders in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the experience of the united states of America from the point of view of school leaders in the city Riyadh (medium).
