This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of using the Frayer model to acquire the concepts of teaching English as a foreign language to seventhlevel students at Afif College of Education, Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia.

To accomplish the study’s objectives, the researcher adopted the Quasi-experimental method with one group design (pre-test, post-test).

A test was constructed to measure the acquisition of the targeted concepts.

Then it was applied before doing the experimental treatment on the study sample.

They consisted of (53) students who studied the conceptions in the traditional method.

They were then taught using the Frayer model.

After the end of the experimental treatment period, the “t” test for small samples was applied to analyze the difference between means of scores of the study sample in the pre and post-measurements.

Results of data analysis revealed that students’ acquisition of the concepts of Teaching English as a Foreign Language improved significantly at the level of significance (0.05
