During the last two decades, the frantic policy of extracting hydrocarbons has led to their depletion without the reserves being replenished.
In addition, the income derived from the exports of this resource has not contributed to establishing the foundations of a sustainable productive economy.
On the contrary, the misuse of these revenues has caused a perversion of the Algerian economy through the marginalization of productive manufacturing activities, the inefficiency of the tax system, the absence of an accumulation of productive knowledge, the development of an informal sector, among others.
This policy of inefficient management of natural resources is the result of a weakening of the state from an institutional point of view.
الملخص FRE
Durant les deux dernières décennies, la politique effrénée d'extraction des hydrocarbures a conduit à leur déplétion sans que les réserves ne soient renouvelées.
En outre, les revenus tirés des exportations de cette ressource n'ont pas contribué à asseoir les bases d'une économie productive pérenne.
Au contraire, la mauvaise utilisation de ces revenus a occasionné une perversion de l'économie algérienne à travers la marginalisation des activités productives manufacturières, l'inefficience du système fiscal, l'absence d'une accumulation de connaissances productives, le développement d'un secteur informel, entre autres.
Cette politique de gestion inefficace des ressources naturelles est le résultat d'un affaiblissement de l'Etat d'un point de vue institutionnel.
