The repercussions of the Corona pandemic on the Saudi economy 2020-2021

This study aimed to shed light on the concept of emerging corona virus covid -19 pandemic.

This study also aimed to explain the effects of the spread of the pandemic on the Saudi economy, to identify the expected losses, and to know the most affected economic sectors during the economic crisis.

To achieve these goals, we used the descriptive survey method, and a questionnaire was used to collect data related to the study variables.

The study community consisted of people from Kingdom Saudi Arabia and from different age groups during the year (1441 AH – 1442 AH).

The results were also extracted using the SPSS statistical program.

The findings showed that there is statistical significance between the impact of the pandemic’s repercussions and the Saudi economy, and that the economy suffered, lost and was negatively affected by the Corona pandemic.

The results of the study also showed that the financial and health fields were among the most negatively affected areas during the crisis
