Factors affecting the motivations, obstacles and directions of Saudi women’s career path working in women’s stores in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia The development plans in the KSA have given great attention to the Saudi woman.

The KSA’s vision of 2030 ascertains that the economy will give opportunities to all, men and women, and targeting increasing the woman’s participation level in the labor market to (30%).

Despite the great efforts exerted to support Saudi women workforce, it is still inconsiderable compared to the number of Saudi females of working age, for they don’t exceed (21%) in 2017.

This study aims at recognizing factors influencing Saudi woman work experience in women-related products shops in the eastern province of KSA, encountered obstacles and future directions in that field.The study results revealed the effect of the age variable, which considered most independent factor affecting the drives, obstacles and directions of the career path.

Secondly, the unemployment period, and thirdly comes the following factors: previous work condition, average monthly income of employee’s family, working shifts, job satisfaction, and employer treatment and low-wage obstacle.

Finally comes the followings: marital condition, job title, shop kind and location, working hours, transportation challenges, long working hours challenge, childcare challenge, treatment challenge, and inadequate training challenge.
