the aim of the current research is to determine the level of inclusion of research activities in primary stage science textbooks in the Arab Republic of Egypt for the academic year 2019/2020 ad, and the research activities of interest were represented in the following (laboratory experimentation, practice inquiry processes, research projects, field trips and visits, pictures and illustrations, writing reports by using the internet, tasks and assignments), and the research population included all primary stage science text books, and the research sample consisted of science content for the upper three grades (fourth, fifth, and sixth grades) for the primary stage, with six textbooks.

To achieve this, a descriptive and analytical approach was used, a questionnaire was prepared for the research activities, on its light, the content analysis card was prepared, and after making sure of its validity and reliability through the holistic equation, the calculation of frequencies, percentages, and the chi-square test was used.

the results of the research revealed that science textbooks for the upper three grades (fourth, fifth, and sixth) included research activities at rates (33.06% - 26.95% - 26.23% ), respectively, and therefore none of them reached the approved sufficiency level.

in the current study, which is (80% ), and there are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the degree to which research activities are included in the content of primary stage science textbooks, according to the difference in the academic grade, and there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the method of explicit or implicit inclusion in the content of primary stage science textbooks, depending on the difference in the grade level, and a proposed conceptualization of three models in primary stage science for the upper three grades (fourth, fifth, and sixth) of primary stage highlights the mechanism for including research activities, in light of the results of this study submit a number of related recommendations and suggestions.
