The research aims to verify the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral program to improve self-compassion among students with learning difficulties in the preparatory stage, and the main study sample consisted of (20) male and female students of students with difficulties in the preparatory stage and their ages ranged from (14: 12) years, they were randomly divided into two groups, An experimental group that includes (10) male and female students who received the cognitive-behavioral program, and a control group that includes (10) male and female students who did not receive the program, The study tools consisted of the self-compassion scale prepared by (Neff) Arabization of Muhammad Al-Sayed Abdul Rahman et al (2013), and the cognitive-behavioral program (prepared / researchers).

The researchers used the Mann-Whitney test for small independent groups, and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test for groups The associated small scale to verify the study's hypotheses, and the Eta-squareds2 coefficient to calculate the strength of the program effect.

The results showed the effectiveness of the cognitive-behavioral program in improving self-compassion among students with learning difficulties in the preparatory stage.
