L'apport du droit international dans l'édification d'une nouvelle gouvernance mondiale de la santé pour l'après Covid-19

Le présent article examine les instruments du droit international de la santé appliqués dans la préparation et la riposte sanitaire mondiale à la pandémie du COVID-19.

L'examen est axé, en particulier, sur ce qui n'a pas bien fonctionné dans l'application du Règlement Sanitaire International (2005) et les disfonctionnements observés dans les fonctions de l'OMS relatives à la gestion des situations d'urgence sanitaire.

Enfin, il analyse les prémices d'un nouveau droit international de la santé plus adapté aux exigences du nouveau monde de l'après 19 COVID- This article examines the instruments of International Health Law applied in the global health preparedness and response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The examination focuses, in particular, on what has not worked well in the implementation of the International Health Regulations (2005) and the dysfunctions observed in the functions of WHO relating to the health emergency management.

Finally, it analyzes the beginning of a new International Health Law more suited to the demands of the new world after COVID-19.
