الملخص EN

This study is aimed at enhancing knowledge and cultural plurality and their reflection on the art of sculpture in Sudan.

it also targets shedding light on the manner in which cultural plurality has contributed to aesthetic recognition of the art of sculpture.

the learner has relied on the collection of data and information and on several referrences and books while applying the descriptive-analytical approach and adopting observation as a study tool.

the learner consequently selected a group of models by some sculptors who have graduated from the college of fine and plastic art/ scultpure department at subsequent historical periods so that these works may be analyzed in accordance with the artistic standards in order to actualize the hypothesis of the study, namely cultural plurality in Sudan and its reflection on form and content of the art of sculpture.

the study ensued in results ; the most significant of which is that: cultural plurality in Sudan can be an operative factor in accentuating knowledge by idenity and rooting through utilization of symbols and silhouettes as represented in color, connotations and forms.

it can also contribute to the process of aesthetic appreciation and enhancement of the visual values that reflect the cultural bottomline in the minds of the Sudanese people.
