الملخص EN

During the golden Islamic period, translation caught the interest of muslim scholars who were the first translators in charge of finding new terminology using either the technique of translation or Arabization.

It is important to note that the translation activity was mostly medical during this period.

Thousands of words were introduced most of which were Arabic terms.

This varied terminology was widely used to express old sciences which contributed to the promotion of the Arabic language as that of science.

These translators who were in charge of coining new terms to name any discovered thing or convey any meaning became later scientific writers and editors of books.
